Leica DISTO D110 (E7100i) Laser Distance Measure with Bluetooth - Black/Red
The E7100i is the equivalent US model, and the D110 can be converted to meters, feet, and inches by holding the second button from the top for 2 seconds. This unit contains a Class II Laser with a 1mW output and offers an accuracy of 1/16" up to a 200-foot measuring range. Take out a pair of earbuds and look at how wide the 1/8" jack is; now, divide that by half.
The Leica DISTO Bluetooth Smart (4.0) wireless data transfer allows you to send measurements directly from the laser measure to your apps using BLUETOOTH 4.0. This laser distance measure is IP54 CERTIFIED, meaning it is DUST & SPLASH PROTECTED. With a set of AAA Batteries, you can capture up to 5,000 measurements.
The MIN/MAX FUNCTION is particularly useful. In Min/Max mode, you can "sweep" the laser point into a corner, and the longest measurement will be recorded, making it very useful for accurate diagonal room or window/door measurements. The AREA/VOLUME FUNCTION is also a valuable feature. In Area Mode, this laser distance measure can determine the area of a rectangle or square in two shots, and Volume Mode adds a third vertical shot to calculate volume.
