The DISTO S910 is a full-featured, highly versatile laser distance measurer (LDM) that offers a range of advanced capabilities. Its standout feature is the integrated smart base, which allows users to measure straight-line distances and the distance between any two points from a remote location, a capability known as P2P (point-to-point) technology.
This groundbreaking functionality enables users to instantly view or save up to 30 P2P values internally, which can then be used to create a DXF file for download, along with images of each measured point. If more than 30 points are required, the DISTO S910 can be linked to a computer via Wi-Fi, allowing the transfer of these additional measurements to AutoCAD in real-time.
The device's user-friendly touch screen interface facilitates easy navigation, with swipe and pinch-to-zoom functionality. It also features two customizable "favorite" keys for quick access to frequently used functions. Whether utilizing the P2P capabilities or the high-quality imagery, the S910 can measure a wide range of objects and structures, both directly and indirectly, from a safe and secure location.
Captured screen images can be recorded as JPG files and downloaded to a Windows or Mac computer via USB. The DISTO S910 can also transmit P2P values wirelessly via Wi-Fi, or straight-line values using Bluetooth 4.0 Smart Ready technology, making it compatible with a variety of Android, iPad, and iPhone devices equipped with the free Disto Sketch app or other third-party apps.
Boasting a range of up to 984 feet (300 meters) and an accuracy of 1 millimeter, the S910 is built to withstand the demands of rugged work environments, with its IP54 dust and water jet protection. Its accuracy is further validated by the ISO 16331-1 standard. Additional features include an integrated calculator, area/volume calculations, Pythagoras, stake-out, triangle area, delay timer, offset, 30-position memory, height tracking, indirect height, and profile measurement capabilities.
The device's high-visibility, 4-line color display, rechargeable Li-Ion battery, and included accessories (nylon pouch, belt loop, lanyard, quick start guide, and producer certificate) ensure a comprehensive and user-friendly experience. With a wide range of available units of measure, the DISTO S910 is a powerful and versatile tool for a variety of measurement tasks, both indoors and outdoors.
