The feature of Art. Minerva Box is milling typed and has a natural embossing pattern on the surface. To achieve this, some leather and chemicals are put into a big drum, which is then rotated for a certain time. During this process, the leathers get some friction with each other, and it creates a natural embossing partially. This embossing is different from an artificial one, but it is very shown partially and naturally. The leather is full vegetable, and it keeps much oil in. As much as you use the case, it will become glossy, and you will see a unique character from the leather.
The bottom of the case is made of Aircraft grade Aluminum 6061, a high-class material used in the manufacturing of aircraft. It is manufactured in great detail, installed very firmly, and maintains flatness. The entire 9.8mm thickness aluminum is applied to maintain flatness, giving the case a simple design and a luxurious feeling. The Tripod Mount is additionally manufactured and separated from a bolt, upgrading the convenience of use. The aluminum surface is completed as a very sturdy product, treated with Alumite for corrosion/wear resistance and light stability.
The premium quality Italian natural leather half case has adopted a new metal grip for the best grip ever. The customer can change the battery without separating the case. For easy installation of the Tripod, a removable Dovetail Plate has been added to the Leica Q2 Half case, making it functional while keeping the simple design.
